Our Mission

Louis_Pasteur_signature_edited.png

In 1876 Louis Pasteur said: “Science knows no country, because knowledge belongs to humanity, and is the torch which illuminates the world”.  150 years later, at Pasteur Foundation-UK, we still believe that the next major public heath challenges will be better addressed by multi-disciplinary international scientific cooperation.

Pasteur Foundation - UK is a grant making foundation, supporting cross-border projects at the interface of multiple scientific disciplines between the Institut Pasteur and leading UK based research institutions, tackling global public health challenges.

Our mission is to raise awareness of, and support for, these scientific collaborations .  We are delighted to have already partnered with a range of UK universities, research centres, private companies and trusts and are excited to continue to expand our network within the UK.

Pasteur Foundation – UK is a private non-profit foundation, registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales.  Charity number 1203634.
