We are aware that cross-border collaboration is only possible if researchers are given the opportunity to interact and explore opportunities with other scientists working in their field.

At Pasteur Foundation - UK, we are firm believers in the importance of scientific workshops, symposiums and conferences that give researchers the freedom to discuss, share and explore with no hidden agenda. The opportunity to discover potential connections and collaborations is key and we have seen many successful Pasteur- UK partnerships that started in this setting.

Our Exploration Fund covers researcher transport and accommodation costs, event space hire and refreshment costs. This enables great minds to come together to exchange ideas and build impactful new collaborations with no external pressures.

Symposiums, Workshops and Conferences
We are proud to have a strong history of running engaging scientific symposiums, workshops and conferences in both France and the UK to engage researchers on both sides of the channel to come together to tackle global public health challenges.
When great ideas come out, and researchers want to explore further, our exploration fund also helps fund an early-career researcher to exchange between teams and to be a springboard for new research avenues.
