Research

Pasteur Foundation - UK supports impactful research taking place between the Institut Pasteur and leading UK based institutions.  Our research partnerships tackle three strategic axis: understanding the impact of climate changes and ecological transitions on health and diseases, fighting infectious diseases and antimicrobial resistance and investigating the underlying mechanisms of non-communicable diseases and inflammation.

“Franco-British collaboration between the Institut Pasteur and [UK institutions] allows us to tackle some of the most challenging problems in global health, for example by developing and trialing new interventions for malaria control and elimination.”

Funding Franco - British Research

At Pasteur Foundation – UK, we acknowledge that the challenges we face today – whether in research, public health, medical innovation or public trust – are too vast and global to be solved by any single institution or country and thus we seek to promote mutually beneficial cross-channel research through strong partnerships with many leading UK institutions.

All our research projects are science-led and spring from organic connections between two leading researchers who have sought a collaboration due to the mutual benefit of sharing skills.
